just changed heads and cam in my 92 lt1. was running great for several days. got on it pretty good yesterday, ran the tach up real high, then all of a sudden it felt like I lost a couple of cylinders. Idles very poorly, no power, but what is confusing me is that there is no smoke, no backfiring, no overheating. Even drove it home 30 miles. no knocking either. had just gone from stock cam to relatively high lift (.536 ). have crane gold RR, comp high lift springs, and hardened performance pushrods. anybody ever have this experience?

When I set up my valvelash for the first time I must have done it incorrectly as I ended up bending two pushrods. They ended up popping out of place. One of them ended up in the lifter valley.
Thats where I would start.
How do you know you lost a pushrod? Did you pop the valve covers and take a look?
Did you check the springs for coil bind? The retainers for clearance with the valve guides? The rocker arms for clearance with the retainers? Did you wind it high enough to pump up the lifters? How is the valve train geometry?
