Default using construction-grade levels for alignment?

i've seen a couple of people mention they're using adjustable levels or angle locators from home improvement stores, all mentioning decent results.

anyone have any negative experiences?

anyone have a manufacturer and part number for what they are using?

thx

I posted the ACE part number in one of my recent posts. I believe the post is entitled "Tired of Tires", several posts down on the first page (better hurry before is gets moved to page 2, then 3 . . .)

I used a laser level.. It basically a torpedo level with a laser built in that puts out laser on a plane.. so you can put it up on the wheel and it will project a line on the floor. Measure the width in front and behind to figure your toe. Any level can be used for measuring camber.

The castor is a little more tricky.
