Vacuum line problem ?? ...help !

Vacuum line problem ?? ...help !
I have an early 1986 with 113,000 miles that I've owned over 13 years. I just started noticing a noise in the dash as I stop with my foot off the gas. So I figure I have a vacuum leak letting the A/C, heater defroster doors move. Now to locate the problem being under the dash or under the hood. Can someone tell me where the main line going to the inside is and if there is a common problem area to start looking at ?

Does it sound like a "hiss" when you apply the brakes? If so it is likely the power brake booster.
