wheel offset question
I currently have 2 Weld Pro Star 15X4 (with 165r15 tires)off my old V-8/S-10 and attempted to put them on (just to get some weight/rolling restance off the front of the car)to go to the track last Thursday but they have a 1 3/4 BS and were out almost past the front fender on my Vette. In addition to looking really stupid I didn't feel like bouncing one of them into a fender lip. However just looking at my front end with those Welds on there, it didn't look like I could put a 2 1/4 BS front wheel on the car without it hitting the brake caliper. As for the rear I didn't have any old 15" wheels to test fit, but I do have a new set of 26X11.5 MT ET streets I want to put on the car so some help on the wheels would be appreciated. I've only been to the track once and spinning my new 315/35/17's radials all the way through 2nd gear is already getting old.
So here is my question who is running one of these cars as a drag car and what size and offset wheels are you using, I really would like to get these ET streets and stuff mounted soon.
thanks guys
Will
