power seats
having trouble with my driver seat it won't go up it sounds like the gears are stripped can I rebuild it

Pull the seat cushion bottom out (there's a latch in the front), then remove the four bolts that hold the seatback and the bottom down, then you can get to the drive assembly.
Maybe one of the linkage cables became disconnected... From there you can remove the drive assembly, I know you can purchase new ones but I don't know about rebuilding it.

There have been one or two Forum members who had success with taking their tracks apart and fixing the gear problem.
When I pulled my track I could not see how to open it up so I got a replacement unit from Contemporary Corvette, link on my site.
You can swap the tracks from side to side till you get a replacement unit.
