Default 89 Temp control problem

I have an 89 C4 that is constantly blowing hot air no matter what temp setting I have selected or whether or not it's set to auto or manual. At first I thought the A/C needed freon servicing but the A/C is working but not getting inside the car. A friend mentioned that there is a "blend air door/motor" that may be failing which may default to the heat side. With summer coming I need to get this figured out.

Thanx Agent86! Did this come from the factory service manual?

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. It turned out to be the programmer. One of the resistors was burnt up.
