Default Some racing Videos......

Just playing with the new camera I got and the software to take the videos off. Thought I would put some videos here for those of you that are interested and have asked about the cars.

First is the video of Dad's chevelle - first run off the trailer this year after we made the change to his Aluminum Dart Pro 1 heads, and 1095 Demon Carb. Also did some work to his suspension, which still needs some tweaking....But the car is assured to his 9s in no time...Found a few things this week that were costing him some to the tune of about 40-50hps..

http://www.azzatochips.com/videos/chevelletestvid.mpg

Next is a little clip I put together of my rear breaking again first time out this year. Not a good scenerio - it was cut short from the swearing the camera man did when it happened. Then is just another of the first runs this year when the car was running extremely lean - cause it still needs dialed in with the new cam. WIth this cam the car wants ~20% more fuel

At any rate here's the next video...

Looks like it hooked hard to the right! Did you keep it off the guard rail?

That was when it twisted the passengers side 1/2 shaft off on the launch. It JUST missed the launch tree. The guys standing there said it missed by less than a 1/2 ft!

Thanks for the comments. Lots of work into the cars - and its fun to share....

hey jesse,

from what i see that th350 didnt help out much , your still blowing up halfshafts . i just went with a th350 and a PI converter , why dont you get some aftermarket halfshafts, i know they run so much but that would stop you problem

I'm glad you are able to share your FUN with us, great runs and hope to see more! Great job on BOTH cars!!

As you wrote last year, it's nice to know the weak point won't break the bank replacing it, but who would have paid for the tree?

It just makes me so warm inside knowing that I contributed to such a great run!

What part of that engine do all the forum members who have purchased your **** chips own?

ski-dwn-it

where did you get the carb/efi manifold and how much?

And how did the stock thermostat housing/routing from the radiator work?

Shock loading the rear on the burnouts. I'm tellin' ya, it ain't a good thing.

I can't see why you guys can't see the harm in the instant shock load when the tires bite from a spin?

Oh well, it's an argument I'll never win I guess.

Here's a thread I started a couple months back in the drag forum.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ts&forum_id=90

It explains why I feel the way I do. Although others think I'm just full of it.
