Does anyone know what diameter and pitch thread chasers I need for the heads on a 94 LT1?

Also is it necessary to chase the threads for the intake manifold if you're putting new gaskets in?

3/8 16 is the thread for intake holes. I think 7/16 14 is the head holes. I will go check now.

Wadda you know! I was correct. I use special thread chasers that resemble a dull tap. They have no cutting action so no metal is removed. Only junk is cleaned out.

Thanks, I'm replacing the head gaskets this weekend and just remembered I needed to do this
