LT1 lifters, dog bone vs link bar

What is required in changing the dog bone style roller lifters to a link bar in an LT1? Either way we are talking hydraulic rollers. Is there an advantage to either setup?

Going to link bar type lifters will cost you a premium. If you stay with the OE spider and the dog bone locators with stock OE style or aftermarket OE replacements, you will save some hard earned cash. Either system will work equally as well as the other.
