Clearing codes from the comp
The other night on my way to work , the dreaded service engine soon light comes on. I drive the rest of the way to work, approx 10 miles or so cause the car was still running great, gauges were all in speck. Get to work , do the ol wire accross the A @ G pins on the connector (mines a 92). Although the SES light went out , i got the H32 (EGR Faliure) code. Sooooooo
I go out this morning with my scanner in hand, i figure ill try to clear the code. I have a AutoXray 3000 scanner. When i try to clear the code it gives me "Car not Responding" ..... Now i can read the code, See the code, and look at my real time engine info ,, just not clear the code.
So instead of beating my head over it , i figure their is probably some special way of clearing historic codes? So if anybody knows the trick , please let me know. Or is it just something to not worry about?

Really nothing to worry about, you can disconnect the battery to remove the codes. Or kill the battery power to the ECM but I can't remember exactly where to do that on your car.
