I have an 86 auto. All of the underhood relays are fried. The car runs extremely rich and only with your foot on the gas.By fried I mean crispy.Any ideas,Help?
Not on fire but melted. The 2 MAF the one towards the plenum about the same height, and another down on the quarter panel. What could cause this? Not what the other ralays are to.
OD,fuel pump and both maf relays on mine had the wire insulation shrink back leaving some with an inch of bare wire. Truley an accident waiting to happen. I suspect yours could have had the same problem and your good luck finally ran out

Something common to them all is at fault. I'd guess a bad connection that caused over heating, thus overloading. Could be on the feed or the ground sides. Also, a short obviously could do it.
