Cats?
I just have a couple of questions:
1. Are the Dynatech Cats worth the premium over Magnaflows?
2. For those that have done LTs and CATs what are the part numbers of the CATs that you have used?
I know that a stock engine does not need long tube headers, but I have plans for a cam, bigger roller rockers 1.6 or 1.7 and heads.
I have not decided on porting my LT1 heads or getting the stage III LT4 conversion from Scoggins but that decision will be made later on this summer.
I really appreciate all those that responded to my last thread, I am finally back in town and want to get my exhaust project finished. My problem is that this is my every day transportation so I need to have all of my ducks in one row prior to taking the car down, so that I don't have to walk to work.
Thanks
Mike
I paid $150 each for my Dynatech cats from Jegs

I wanted to be sure that these would fit side by side in the tunnel and I kenw the Random Techs would work, but at the time I opted for the Dynatechs.
Not sure if the Magnaflows will fit in the tunnel side by side

The magnaflows are about 60 bucks however, low price is not always a bargain.

and now my custom exhaust makes almost stock noise from being nice and loud. and now i have a noticable power change.
