I put in their 2800 stall. I'm still breaking in the new engine but I don't notice any problems with it in local traffic or on the highway. Once the engine is broken in, I'll go to the track and see what it does.
I used Edge for my tranny rebuild. Really like it, even better then the Vigilanti that was in before I blew up the tranny. Prices are good, and they listen to your needs.
I have a pro-built converter in now and I'm seriously contemplating swapping it out for my lower-stall Edge converter. Even though it is higher than stock, the 2600 stall Edge was relatively crisp and worked without problems. THe pro-built I have now is rediculously loose - it's supposed to be a 3000 stall, but for the "400 RPM" difference they're night a day apart. It's such a change between brands, I'm wondering if the rated stall on my probuilt isn't in fact much higher?
Is this who you are refering to http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/
If so then yes, I'm running there mild street edge @ 2800 stall. It's given me my new best's and no problems to report so far..
Andre is good people... I cryo-treat all of Edge Racing Converter's internal components (as well as Precision Industries') and run one of his race converters as well. He's a good guy and his converters are as good as any out there. Between him and Terry Hedrick (Precision) you won't find better converters for our cars.
