Are the front swaybars different between the 85-87 vettes and the 88-96 ones? If so, what is different or how do you tell the differences?
OK, I probably asked the wrong question above. When I've see swaybars listed, they are either for 85-87 or 88-96. Iwant to get a used 30mm front swaybar for my '89 and was wondering if there was any physical difference between the bars used in the earlier cars vs the later ones, or if it is just the mounting hardware that is different.

Reason: Question Clarification
They changed the suspension geometry in 88, and generally the sway bar size increases after those years as they changed their suspension philosophy starting in 88.
You will not be able to use the earlier bars in front.
So how do I tell the later (88+) bars apart from the earlier ones (85-87) if I were to go to a swap meet and look for them? Do they measure different between the mounting points, are they shaped different...?
