Default Header, hotcam help?

What are you LT4 guys running for headers? I looked at that other thread and in-between the bickering didn't learn much. I plan to do the hotcam and headers at the same time. I see C1185 EM headers, are these what I need? Is the hotcam enough cam with those headers or can I go bigger? I can live with some crappy idle.

Thanks.

You won't be disappointed with a set of EM headers. The fit and finish are top notch. A Hot cam will have a slightly lopey idle, it will offer a good performance gain over the stock cam and will still pass emissions. Going to a larger cam without other mods such as ported heads will not offer much more gain over the Hot cam. Not to mention further degradation of idle quality. I run a cam that is a 224/236 it has a idle that is a little more lumpy than the HOT cam, you could run something like that with a 114 LSA. I have CNC ported AFRs on my 396 as well as a blower.
