Question on superram install...
So you drill out the plenum holes, spot face around the holes to get a good parallel sealing surface and put floating nuts on the runners. The floating nuts are mil-spec parts that allow the nut to move a bit and they also have a thread locking feature so you don't have to worry about the bolts dropping into the intake. I found that allen head 1/4 - 28 bolts work well and with a T-handle ball-end wrench I have all the bolts tightened in about 10 minutes.
I also used several ball-end allen wrenchs with allen head bolts on the manifold to runner bolts and it saved me from removing rocker arms. Some slotting and grinding on the runners helps.
Pegasus racing has an on-line catalog so you can find the parts and look at them. It's a bit of work up front but it makes life much easier.
There are other good alternatives as well.
Good luck
Did you have enough clearance against the sides inside the plenum? I'm going to need to pull mine to install bigger injectors ( don't ask
)
, and I think I'm gonna run as many down from the top as I can
).Some of these other suggestions (like slotting the runners) I'll probably do next time I have to pull the thing. I'm still running the stock injectors (no cash, and had just had them cleaned/flow-matched) so eventually those will be replaced.

And use heat when bending it, otherwise it WILL shatter.Anyway, I'm back online and here's the pic. I'll have to make one of these...
[RICHR]
and still having to face the PITA job of reaching
them, what about placing studs in the runners?
Then take 2Many's idea about drilling and spot-facing
the holes in the plenum, add the Stat-o-seals
cap with thread-locking nuts (plus Lock-tite,
safety-wire and whatever else it takes for comfort).
Wouldn't this make it so that once the runners are
on, the plenum drops onto the studs, everything
cinches up from the top with no worries about
pulling threads and you are on the road?
Too bad nobody came up with a way to make the
Stealth work on C4's. The SR delivers where I'd
want an improvement but the issues associated
with it ...
