That thing flows like 1300cfm though. That's WAY more than what most cars would need. I've got the 1000cfm one and it'll probably be too much.
I'd suggest a "good" 58mm throttle body, unless you're going really extreme. The monoblade can have some special tuning issues. I got a really good deal on a monoblade, so I couldn't resist. You can see mine in "My Corvette Photos".
unless you are planning to put in a 396 or above,you will lose low end torque,driveability,and performance if you put that big a t-body on your LT4,especially without tuning.What are your "more to come"mods?
On thing you have to know with a mono blade and an LTx manifold. With that mono blade you loose the dedicated Idle Air Port. Which means that all the idle control air will enter the main plenum and NOT the dedicated idle air passages as GM designed the intake with. This means that at idle there will be some cylinders lean and other rich or otherwise known as split fuel trims. This isn't a problem in race cars and its not really a big problem in street cars unless the split is really large which could lead to tuning issues.
