Coolant temp sensor grounding
I changed the water pump on my 94 LT1. In doing so I took the old coolant temp sensor off the original water pump and put it on the new one. I used thread sealer on it. Is this bad? Does the coolant temp sensor on the LT1 need to be grounded through the threads. I have seen some intermitent check engine lights.
