Anyone use an aftermarket guide plates on their stock LTx heads? If so who made your guide plates and what part number? Comp 4808 do not work
Opps I figured it out, for those that need to know, use GM Part Number 14011051. No one makes an aftermarket guide plate that works on GM LTx heads.

I have aftermarket LTx guideplates that work great...if I can't find the receipt that I'll need to pull the valve covers to see what they are!!
EDIT: found the receipt, they are Manley part# 42355
Try Isky adjustable guideplates; they suck but once you set them where you want them you can weld them together.

Hey Jeb, I have used many Isky adjustable guide plates In fact this week alone I have gone through three sets. I just figured that there had to be a standard off the shelf set of them available that were cheap, as the Iskys are about $45 and the GM parts are less than $2 per plate.
Last H&C swap, I went w/ the Isky adjustables...major PITA and we still didn't get 'em right. With my current H&C upgrades, I changed to the GM #14011051. Hopefully next weekend I'll be measuring the pushrods and checking the valvetrain.
