I have an '86 Convertible with a terrible water leak. Water is pouring in between the door and the fuse panel, drivers side. Appears to be coming from where the window, front quarter panel and door meet. Does anyone have any ideas on this. Help would be grealy appreciated.
Unless you smell the coolant and have it soaking the PS floor, chances are it is not the core but a simple (?) water leak. How is the A pillar weatherstrip?

Here's my method to solving a water leak like that (assuming it's coming from outside that is):
Take the seat out, and pull the carpet back on that side.
Get inside, and have someone outside spray water with a hose around the door jam area, till you see the leak. You'll probably want to put down towels or something on the floor.
Otherwise, just inspect the weatherstripping to see if something is obviously wrong.
