Behind driver storage compartment?

I decided to clean my storage compartments in my 91 Coupe, and I pulled the plastic bin and the carpet to clean. Low and behold there is a "something" there. Looks like some kind of pump. Silver looking, looks brand new. What is that???

I'm looking at my service manual now to read up on it. It does look like an ABS system come to think of it. And, I really didn't see one under my hood, bu I knew there was one. Is there any manintenance that needs to be done to this system?

Yeah, I read up on it, it's maintenance free. Thing looks brand new. Guess I'll leave it alone before I break something. Thanks for the quick reply Ramrod92.

interesting find - so you can put a "tray" on that side for some storage? is it the same as what should be on the other side?
i don't have the "trays" on either side in my '92 but would definitely like to have them!

Just a guess, but if it's the one behind the pass/side I think it has to do with the radio, I seem to remember that when I had my 90?????

Actually on the 92 the bin behind the passenger seat is rather large. The radio is located behind the glove box. I noticed on a 94 I looked at today that the jack was located in that bin, while the jack for my 92 is in the spare.
