Default idle problems fixed

I've had my 88 sitting for the past two months. Had to jump it to get it started, ran fine for 20 minutes then parked it. Started it to move it and it wouldn't idle. Pulled TB and IAC and cleaned, still no idle. Adjusted IAC per 65Z01's website and it's a MIRACLE. Idles smooth as silk and kicks right over when starting. Thanks!

Not necessarily. You may be idling on the high side of 600 and may just be touching on 700. Mine does the same only at 700 to 800 but there's no miss and the idle feels steady. You won't really feel 50 rpm or so but it will still cause a tach fluctuation. Has done that since new. Even the TPI's aren't rock steady.
