Default Center force clutches?

Hi I have an 85 4+3 z-51 with a light modified engine. I hav the original clutch on and it feels heavy to work with. I have experienced that the clutch slips now and then. I will change t a new clutch.
I have thought of centerforce II. I will use the car for making tours in the countryside , in the city (stop and go ) and some times for more aggressive driving. Iheard from a garage that the centerforce gets easily hot and then the wear and tear increases beyond the stockmodels. Have anybody had such experience? I would very much appreciate recommendations and comments one and the other way

I used the CF Dual Friction II on my 1985/4+3 with a 406 engine and was able to go 12.5 @ 115 mph,,, the clutch held very well.
