To enhance a lt1 to lt4 conversion I need to upgrade my throttle body to 52mm and put headers on also, but I do have 1 question. From what I've heard and read I should also upgrade my knock module to an lt4 module, is this correct and where is it located?

It is in the ECM but I would not change it untill you get the kit installed, tuned and check for false knock. The LT4 KM is suposed to be less sensitive to allow for the valve train noise of the LT4 R/Rs but unless you have false knock it is a waist of $$$$$$

Supposidly, the LT4 KR Module was tuned to hear less because of the noise from the full roller valve train of the LT4. I personally have mixed feelings about how well it works. I ran a stock KRM in my car with Comp Hi-Tech roller rockers for several years without any issues. In some cars that did have some false KR or what was assumed false KR, I tried the LT4 KRM and it didn't change a thing, however some people claim good results. For my part, I am a skeptic.
