Agent86 - Do u happen to know if this antenna doc applies to C5's as well?
I'm webmaster for our corvette club; www.corvettesdownunder.com.au
& have been adding 'tech-tips' pages and info for models other than C4's has been sadly lacking.
I have no idea how to fix the erection problem. I thought the label advised, if you cannot get it to go down after 4 hours, go see a doctor! Anyway, I had to read the string after the great title.
By the way; I HAD thought of beating it down with a stick, but that'd defeat the whole purpose!

Sorry, don't know
If your ever looking for something from the 86 bible, let me know as i have the whole thing on my hard drive
My original reply, post#3 "The three from the relay - green is the central wire to the motor and white takes the down power and grey the up."
post#4 rodj said "'87 service manual shows green as the common.
Gray+ / green- = Up
White + / green- = Down
"
If your still there Agent 86, was there an easy way to get the manual on disk?
S'nut
Yeah, but mine specifies where to put green wire to - it has to move from + to neg - it doesnt work by leaving Green on one polarity (But also the GM PDF from Agent86 tells u this in the diagram)
PS AGENT86 - I TOO would love a copy of what you have!
Woah!!!! I think you've got it a bit back to front !!
In my circuit diagram the green is NEGATIVE both times - also according to rodj
The Green is constant and not switched, it is the white and Grey that are switched, by the relay, in my circuit diagram -
S'nut
Noooo, as per my posting (& our phone chat) You'll note I say: "Testing antenna out of vehicle" - works this way, have done it 6 times now each way - different thing altogether when it's plugged back IN to car circuitry. But thanks for your concern mate
when you indicated you had an erection problem, i thought it had something to do with your "my corvette photos" - if that were my 85, i'd never wash my hood emblem again

Anyone else care to comment?

Believe it of not he is right.
If you trace back to the relay ,it is of the DPDT type and changes the polarity of the green depending apon position selected.
And I thought it was the XXXX.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! Nah mate, no one here can understand a thing anyone says. thats why we call everyone "mate" so we can make them think we are not a hostile party, and therefore keep them in a calm state. When we want to understand each other, we generally use our fists.
hey agent86 - do you know if the diagram is the same for a 92??? Does anyone know what color the wire at the radio is for a 92??? I bought mine w/an aftermarket radio and I can only listen to cd's so long!!!
