i run right at about 183-185* op temp, on the highway. i'm tickled pink with this. on a hot summer day, it idles at about 205-210* without the air cond. on. i'm tickled pink with this as well.

with air on while idling, the temps steadily skyrocket to 230*, which i'm absolutely NOT tickled pink about. and the temps are slow to recover once underway. so, i hardly ever use the air.

the ideal oil temp range is about 200*......this brings the coolant temps in about 180-190*.

If you want a manual fan switch, Mid America used to sell, and I think still does, and plug and play toggle switch that can be mounted anywhere on the dash as long as the wire is long enough to reach.
