I installed the APC folding seats in my C4. Took a little modification and fabricating the mounting rails, but it wasn't anything beyond the average gear-head's abilities.
I posted pix of the install several months ago...a search in C4 tech should turn those pix up...
That said, I think I would go with the Corbeau CR1's if I had it to do over...the "folding back" feature would be worth the extra $$. (the APS's back will adjust, but not "fold")
Thanks for the picture, the seats look great in your car!
So did you get 1/2 " or an 1" of extra headroom? I saw you said they were lower than stock but I didn't see if if you said it was a significant improvement. Thanks again for the response!

I would say at least an Inch of extra headroom.
I'm 6 feet tall and there is plenty of headroom, even with a helmet on.

I ended up putting A4's in my C4. I mounted them on top of the factory power seat bases. I lost about an inch of headroom from the manual base APC seats. I'm 5' 6" and that didn't hurt me.
