I'm building a '94 LT1 Turbo engine, What are the best injectors around? What are the best priced injectors and still get me buy. The LT1 has ported heads 1.6 RR, 8.5 Compression, Stroked to 383, and forged everything. I want to get the best performance out of it but still be streetable.
Sounds like the Siemens 3172's or Siemens L107's would be in order here. Stay away from the Delphi 17113738's as they do not tune easily with the LT1 & LS1 PCM's.
Both the 3172's and L107's are in stock in flow-matched sets.

Do you guys make a fuel system for the LT1 vette that can support 1k hp?

Why are the Delphi/Multec 3738 injectors hard to tune? Are there some inherent problems with fuel metering at low engine loads and or low engine speeds?

We manufacture harnesses etc. to assemble double in-tank systems which are available to dealers listed on our web page such as Blowerworks. These systems are capable of supporting upwards of 1000HP depending on the configuration. Please contact Blowerworks to discuss your requirements.

The 17113738 is a very slow/ lazy injector plus the electromagnetic properties of the coil in combination with some ECM/PCM drivers cause erratic fueling. These injectors seem to work very well with GN's, Sy's Ty's, L98, Mustangs etc. Based on feedback from our dealers and customers most people are not able to obtain good results with them. That is not to say that it can not be done as we do have some customers running them in LT1 and LS1 cars but they are few. The Siemens 3172 and L107 are much easier to tune for most people.

What brand of turbo are you using and did you or are you going to reprogram the ecm? You should post some pics.

That is the first I have heard of that phenomenon, I wonder If that explains some of bruce's woes. Those are his exact injectors (17113738 ) Very inconsistent fueling.

This is maybe true with the 50s . But we won't have that problem with the GEN 7 ECU to drive the big Delphi 96s I got now.
