Will this cable work?
I've got an 84' and i've been trying to find a cheap, but good cable to scan my car w/ my laptop. I found the plans to make my own but i dont know how to solder
I did find this though, does anyone know if the other end would happen to be a serial connection?

No it won't. The car side is fine but you need a 9 pin for the computer. Do a search on this forum for cable and there has been a lot of talk back and forth. I do have a wiring diagram, I just need to find it. I know there are links and suggestions on where to find this cable.
