Engine-wise, they make the same power. As for racing, all things being equal, the Vette should win because it's lighter in weight.

Actually, the Camaro has a more restrictive intake and exhaust. It's rated at 275hp vs. 300hp for your Vette.

You are also a few hundred pounds lighter.

http://www.ws6.com/mycar.htm

Here are before-and-after dynos on most of the little stuff. Not a Vette, but most of the Engine Mods are the same.

There's a "bang for the buck" link near the middle of the page.

the good thing about the 93 vette is that it came with 285 tires on the rear (an extra half inch of rubber compared to the 275's found on the camero) a friend of mine had a 95 z28 same situation i raped him off the line all the way he got pissed threw on some borla pipes and i still beat him by over a car length! both were autos but i had that g-92 performance axle which comes with a 3.07 rear end... his camero didnt have the ASR traction control option while mine did but still dont even sweat that guy i might even race him for a tank of gas
