I have around 380-390hp in my 1991 ( se sign for detailjs ).
Im about to build my exhaust. The setup I have in mind is to use hooker headers, hooker front y-pipe, then a strait 3" replacement pipe for the cat going to a magnaflow rear y-pipe and magnaflow mufflers (thats right NO cats ).
I wounder if its enough, or do I have to use true dual 3 inch?
I know alot of camaro owners use singel 3" exhaust with around 400hp.
The reson for doing this set-up is that its easy, and I can get all the parts and mount it myself. There is not alot of exhaust shops here in Sweden that cutom build exhaust like there is in the US.
Second questions.
I installed 4 brand new Tokiko shocks in my vette as well as a lowering kit from ecklers. But the left rear is sitting lower then the right rear, and I have used the same settings on the lowering bolts. I know I can adjust it by change the lenght of the bolts, but Is this commond?
If it was me, I would go with the true duals... If you are installing headers, I don't think you are going to get away with a quick fix, regardless.
I would also consider a pair of high-flow bullet cats. Even with your motor as performance oriented as it is, the cats will help improve scavaging (via an expected increase in backpressure) and help quiet the entire system. Headers, cats, x-pipe, exhaust, mufflers.
The C4 has a tendency to list to starboard for some reason... it is annoying, ain't it?

I too would recommend the true duals if at all possible, with a crossover or X pipe for maximum torque benefits. Just shorten the effective length of the left rear spring bolt, with extra washers as needed, until the car is level.
There is about a 3/4'' difference in my rear bolts to get the body level
But it's level
Your exhaust plan is just like mine except i'm using headman elite headers. I'm not about to cut up my fairly new magnaflow catback to put in true duals.

Thanks for the help.
Could you recomend a vendor that sell high-flow bullet cats? Are those cats welded on to the system, or are they "bolted" on?
To be abit "scientific" about the exhaust system. Can a singel 3" system flow enough for a 400hp CSB?

From Dave Vizard's "How to Build HP, vol 1"
"First of all, every performance V8 engine should be equipped with a true dual-exhaust system...your choice is simple: Either install a practical dual-exhaust ststem w/high flow mufflers, or find room for a 3.5" or 4" tubing and a single muffler that can flow 600 to 800 cfm, such as a one foot diameter by four foot truck muffler." (page 116).
If you don't need or require the cats for legal reasons may be cheaper to pick up the back pressure with some smaller bullet mufflers or resonators.
Shame to spend up big for something you don't need.
You can use LT1 exhaust hangers, aftermarket cat-back and (probably) cats, but you'll still need custom pipes between the headers and the rest of the system.
If you want i can dig up the part numbers for the LT1 exhaust hangers.
Regarding levelling your rear ride height. If adjusting the bolts individually doesn't help, see the attached thread below for another (easy) option to try:
