Ok I have this red money pit (AKA 1990 corvette project car) and it has the push button climate control. Well I just tried to get some heat out of it and nada. I ran the tep control all the way up to 90 and no heat. Soulds like there is some type of solinoid not working. Where should I start looking?
Do the 90's have a heater control valve? It is a vacuum controlled valve that allows coolant to bypass the heater core when A/C is selected and then allows it in the core when heat is selected.... The ones I have seen are black plastic and you can usually find them by following your heater hoses. Looks like this (first one on the list0 http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...LD:en%26sa%3DG
Welcome to the forum, glad ya could join. Show some pics of the money pit
OK, now to the issue at hand.
A really good place to start is here in the forum's archives. See where it says "private messages" near your screenname at the top of this screen? Just underneath, it says "search". Click it, then click "advanced search". On the search screen, type in "no heat" into the keyword box. Then, scroll down and check the box that says "archives", then scroll up and on the right, choose "C4 Tech". Click "start search".
It should return some really good results(threads).
Let us know if not and we'll git'er done.
