The previous owner of my '85 told me that he had a "Crane 2020" cam installed. (5 or 6 years ago now) I found this info on Crane's website:

What would this mean as far as performance compared to the stock cam?

What would this mean as far as performance compared to the stock cam?
It looks like a good cam for torque, if that is what you are looking for. Should work very well with the stock TPI intake. I think it is slightly better than a stock cam. Do you know the LSA of this cam by any chance? That should determine idle quality and low-midrange power. Not a high revving cam at all if valve float occurs at 5000 rpms.

The 2020 is a very mild cam, maybe one step up from stock. It probably has slightly more aggressive ramps than the stock cam and is designed for low end torque rather than high end HP.
