IF your turn signal lever is the same as on an 86, then if it won't latch when signaling for a turn, it probably is not the lever, but the turn signal switch. The lever is just screwed to the turn signal switch just inside the column and would not have anything to break. Sorry, it's somewhat of a pain to change, but not that difficult. Good Luck.

 

If anybody knows where I can find Ed, let me know - he owes me $125, and doesn't answer his phone, doesn't return messages, and doesn't answer his e-mail.... I thought the guy was honest and reputable, and I don't quite understand why he'd want to rip me off like that.

I purchased a set of wheels from him (paid for in March) for $900. I was given the run-around for months that they were delayed in shipping. I ended up buying another set from AFS it took so long. Finally, in June, he told me they were finally in, but I was going on vacation the next day so I couldn't get them. Well a week later, I called, and called, and called, and called, until two weeks ago when I finally got ahold of him at his new job. He told me then that he sold my wheels (remember, they were paid for IN FULL) and he would just have to refund my money. A week later, I called, he still hadn't shipped the money. I threatened criminal charges and got my money that day.
Don't know if you have all settled with ed yet, so I hope this gives you some inspiration if he still owes you!

Hi all, Ed called and threatened me, telling me I better remove his work number from the forum (apparently he isn't allowed to take personal calls at his new job) as it's taking up too much of his time from all the people he owes money calling him. He didn't, however, say I couldn't tell you where he worked. So you might try Modern Toyota in Winston Salem, NC. I found that he doesn't return phone calls, so try to catch him in the office early.

For those of you not in NC, he is in Forsyth county. If you need to, call 336-773-7700 to find the number to the sheriff's office. Of course each case is different, but the one I settled with him was going to be a criminal charge.

Ed---sorry about posting the number, rather than threatening me, you might merely try to settle with all the people you owe money/products. The guys/gals here on the forum are very trusting and don't deserve this. Besides, I went to a lot of work to get my money back and I think it's only right to try and help some of my friends on the forum out!
