LT4 Hotcam
I am interested in having the LT4 hotcam installed in my LT4. From what I have heard it should provide approx. 25hp at the wheels. Can someone give me an idea of what the labor cost would be on a cam install? I am in the Atlanta area, so if you know of a reliable shop that you would recommend, please let me know. BTW, my car dynoed at 298 rwhp in stock condition, is this low, average or high for a stock LT4?

That sounds about average for an LT4. Not sure on a labor cost, but it won't be cheap. I'm thinking of doing heads and cam pretty soon, but doing it myself. Its gonna be a busy day for that project.

Expect to pay at least $1000 for a job like that. Depending on miles you may want to update the valve springs. Not expensive parts wise but it will add a couple more hours in labor fees. Good luck
