Default 85 completely dead

Driving home from work last night everything went dead, only thing that works is the lights. I fortuntately rolled the car into a side street and arranged for towing to home. Can't turn the engine over no dash lights etc. Any clues would be welcomed!!

Hi Andy....could be a number of things....Start with fuses and fusible links. Check the wiring going to the starter motor. Could even be ig, switch related. Good luck with your "hunt" on this one...
btw...how did you resolve you cat. converter issue...?

Thanks for the tips, I have found a wire going to the starter that had corroded but it didn't fix the problem. The Cat 85 is 16inch long while the Cat 86 is 20 inch, so I am about to order a new 85 Cat
