OD early shift

OD early shift
Noob here. I have a 93 ruby with 101K miles. For the past couple weeks when I'm running at about 45-55 MPH, if I slightly push on the accellerator it up-shifts into OD. I did a search and can't find this same symptom. Any ideas?

It may be me for a transmission fluid flush and change. Can't hurt. I'm just worried that there is something more serious going on.

The overdrive in 93 was electrically (ECM)controled it has nothing to do with the TV cable.That is why it can be changed by a tune.The electrical plug on the tranny is there for a reason.

Well, thanks for the posts. Don't really know where to go from here. 
I haven't had the vette long enough to know when the last transmission fluid change was. Could it be that the tranny is just slipping when in OD???
