I just replaced injectors in my 86 vette and I went with 24lbs. I think stock is 22lbs, but if you have any HP modifications I would go with the 24lbs. Alot of people on here just hate Accel injectors, but I haven't had any problems. Hope this helps!

I'd guesstimate that half the people replacing injectors on stock motors go with the 21lb/hr injectors, and the other half go with the 24lb/hr injectors. The ECM should be able to compensate for either injector in closesd-loop mode, but I think I remember a few people dropping their fuel pressure to get the BLM numbers back up to the 128 range.

I went with the 21lb/hr injectors and bumped the fuel pressure up to 48psi. It's still a tad on the lean side (BLM values around 135) but it runs ducky.

I got my injectors from http://www.fiveomotorsport.com, well actually through their eBay auction which were a few dollars cheaper than what they quoted on the website proper (at least they were 18 months ago or so).

Great service, fast responses to emails, and got my injectors in about 2 days.

Good luck!

Ben

I have the 5.0 24# injectors and they keep getting pushed down into the intake. They don,t have the stock GM clips at the top. Any suggestions? Thanks

Ive got DENSO F55E 24# @ 43.5 PSI , they are working great on stock '89 L98 . Using AFPR @38 PSI . $185 shipped from INECTORS4U ! Take-outs from 97-99 Cobra 2v-4.6 . Flow matched and new O-rings too! Look good , satin aluminum body with blue tops. FIVE-O sells them as well.
