Default Pulley for LT4

I'm looking for added horsepower for my LT4....my roommate told me to find some pulleys and we could change those when we do the cam. Where can I find some for the LT4? Ive only been able to find them for LT1.

1. They're a waste of time and money for the small gains you'll get.
2. I don't think anyone makes a Corvette (LT1) specific pulley set.

Since you mentioned a cam-swap, save your money for ported heads, headers, hi-flow cats and gears.

Go to electric water pump......

Use ATI Superdamper....Aluminum/Steel....6.75" gives underdrive...

Worked for me...

1. I kind of agree. You will probably see a 5HP gain at most.
2. ASP makes underdrive pulleys for the LT1, but not the LT4.

I think the ASP pulleys are for F-Body's and B-Bodys. Might want to check before you buy them and try to install them.

ASP makes them for 92-96 but not lt4. i used one. better quality piece than the march set i used. reason most sets are expensive is the pulley/damper is 1 pice on the lt1/4. the f-body guys are lucky because theirs are 2 pieces (the damper and crank pulley) and their pulley sets are super cheap

I've got a damper I removed from a '94 F body engine and the damper and pulley are intergrated, just like the Vette's. The offset is different, that's all.

Total waste of money and time. Same goes for the hypertech. The mezeire electric water pump and long tube headers with a good catback will give you a verrrry noticeable feel. Whatever you do.. Stay away from hypertech.

Thanks guys....Im going with the Super Damper for sure and Im looking into the water pump. 5 horsepower is at least something and I just enjoy working on my car....so regardless of what it gives me it will at least get me out of the house and into my own little corvette world .
