I'm trying to find a ECM for my 86 coupe. I posted in C4 parts/wanted, but received no reply. Anybody know where I could find one.

NAPPA, Autozone etc. some guys like the NAPPA best.

junkyards are loaded with 4 cylinder S-10 pick-ups around 1989 that used the -165 ecm...usual price $25 if you pull, $40 if they pull...its located in about the same place as the vette but pull down the hush panel (if its still there) and one 7mm screw and the computer falls on the floor...must reuse the chip from the vette

i've got a spare if you want it--$30 plus shipping

I've seen them on Ebay for about $80 with the eprom. At auto parts stores you will need to remove the old eprom to install in the remanufactured ECM.

I'll be pulling the '165 out of my '87 in a day or so (repinning to '730) so it will be for sale if you want dibbs. memcal included.

Note: Remove PROM (computer chip) from ECM prior to returning! Return core in the box you receive. Full core credit will be issued for rebuildable core only! Non-rebuildable cores will not receive credit. Send cores prepaid to: Eckler's, 5225 S. Washington Ave., Titusville, FL 32780. A Photocopy of your invoice must be included. Core must be returned in the original box for full credit.
