Just venting. After a long winter of heads, cam and headers she wouldn't go today. I guess tomorrow I will have to check plug wires, and pull a plug. I am not looking forward to the drivers side. It was easy with everything off but now it will be a different story.
Lol, man have we all been there. Make sure the distributor is hooked up and orientated correctly (not 180* off, etc), your wires are all routed correctly, the fuel lines are receiving pressure and are routed properly (I once mixed mine when installing braided hoses... that doesn't work so well).

Yeah,,,,,,not to sound like a broken record but as mentioned above, check the simple things as they have bit me in my a$$ many of times. Also, if we were all knowitalls we wouldn't be on here.

After my 383 buildup and install I know the feeling. It's a let down for sure but it's worth it when it does fire up and purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Hang in there and good luck!
In my case, the excitement of firing it up always resulted in my making a simple mistake. Last time around, I forgot to plug in the iac motor connector.
And I-put the plug wires in (on a Ford) in the wrong rotation :o would you believe it started and ran-of course there wasn't a hellava lot of power-now that was comical-it's just one of thoughs simple things called a brain fart
Just got back in from the garage. I have spark and fuel, I checked plug wires and I have the firing order right. Drivers side had to take the belt tensioner off, what a pain in the ***. It cranks great but it doesn't even come close to firing. Looks like I'll have to call CAA and get it to my garage, he said he would save my *** for me.
