More info needed. What are your goals for how the car drives daily and how much $$$$$$ do you wnat to spend? I would definatly always go big ci 383 ot 396 because I love the feel of big TQ the added cubes give. I chose the 383 over the 396 because it required less block and I was building the motor. I am an old Mopar guy so the whole 383 thing is not a problem besides I seem to run well enough to keep most of the nay sayers at bay.

I do my mods in stages and while I am waiting for my heads to arrive. I'm starting to get my plans together for the next stage. As I posted earlier I am leaning towards a 396. I was just wondering what other LT1 guys/girls would do.
Honestly the money difference between decent 383 and 396 seems to be minimal.
