The TCI dos not have the stopwatch for 60' 1/8 and 1/4 but they are only good if you can avoid wheelspin. I made my own software to measure that from a sensor on the front wheel.

i was checking out the performance centers new setup, looks nice, but the one the vette shop fabed up, out of steel looks to be much stronger setup and it bolts up to the back of the trans and mount on the 4l80e. you dont have to change to the hardened 27 spline shaft and different tailshaft housing. you use the standard 4l80e tailshaft with the 30 spline output shaft. to me, the 30 would be the better of the to. the c-beam bolts to the steel tailshaft bracket setup. driveshaft use the 4l80e yoke with stainless steel u joints.

barcardioil, as of this moment my 700 r4 is still holding up. i don't know how well it's going to hold up now with my fresh mini rammed 406. this is my third tranny so it's only a matter of time before it grenades. i am just in the beginning stages of trying to find a solution for my future tranny problem and i am also trying to project a budget for how much it is going to cost, but just curious how much are you looking to get for the 4l80e with 29 miles?

i read your profile, man you need to post pics of the car, from what i read it's sounds badass.

I agree that your (and my) setup is probably stronger, but the 'bolt on' solution makes it easier.

i agree, but 30 spline is much better then 27, even if the output shaft is hardened. that tail housing to me dont look like its going to take the power alot of the guys there have. looks very weak looking were the c-beam attaches. i guess you do get what you pay for.
regards

changing to a auto would be no problem, you need the 4l80e trans to start. then the bracket set up from THE VETTE SHOP. 1-215-322-9590 tell them you talked to Gene on the forum. if you send them your driveshaft and c-beam they will do the mods needed and send you back a ready to install kit. to me its the only way to go. zr1 a customer and friend has a 4l80e trans and computer for sale if you need one. the price cant be beat. trans has 29 miles on it. not 29k, 29 miles. he didnt have it when i needed it wish he did.
