Default Help converting targa hardware

A friend of mine did me a favor and got me a fiberglass roof and painted it for me. However the front attachment hardware is different. The original top has a screw at each point, the new one has one screw and a pointed cone like pin at each point. What is involved in the conversion
and where do I get the parts?
Thanks Kenny

You can get the parts to change that bolt above the windshield on Ebay. Just get the right year, I think yours is 83 to 86 but I am not certain.
Remove the black plastic trin above the windshield to get at the brackets you need to change. Bolt off the ones on the car and bolt on the right year, they all will fit.
The black plastic trin can be reused, all you have to do is bore one 7/16 hole in it where the screw fits so that you can get at it with the wrench and it will work.
