The Mini Ram sits very low so I don't think I would have much problem with the clearance issue under the hood. The reason I brought this swap up is because I probabally don't know what to do to make the Crossfire work well under drag race conditions and have heard that Crossfire's have their issues. THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE REPLY'S Pipe
If you are going to going to the trouble, you should buy aftermarket fuel control system. The ability to tune is limitless and you cn do it yourself. There are several sources, DFI, Holley,FAST, and I am sure there are more.

TBI injection is actually pretty reliable.

I would like to add my 84 crossfire has 169,000 miles and runs quite well. Why go through all the added work, you could sell the 84 and move up a TPI year.
