I got a 86 auto 112,000 miles on it, This summer once i can save up some $$$ I want to do some heavy mods. Rightnow ive got headers, flowmasters, true dual, no cats, air silencer removed, ect. most of the free/cheap stuff. LOL. Ok I plan on doing aluminum heads, cam, pistions and rods, rings, having the motor bored. Right now im pushing 380 or so at crank. Dont know all what has been done to the car. How much would I be expecting with all these mods done. Id really like to reach 500 on my L-98 Ive thought about upgrading to a twin turbo??? Worthwhile, possible??? hp effects?

If you only have the mods that are listed in your post you are not pushing 380 HP at the crank, I would estimate 260 HP at the crank.
To get 500 HP you will need to do a lot of work. In my sig I have the parts listed that gave me 500 HP at the crank.
if you want 500 at the crank on a N/A motor the stock TPI system has to go... and get a stealth ram, mini ram II, Superram, etc... You'd need a pretty decent cam with alot of duration and ~.600" lift or better. Heads will need at least 2.02"/1.6" (larger on the intake if possible). Heads also need to flow really well. I'd go with a 383 or better as well. Internals would be forged as well.
Now, I'd rather go FI if i was wanting 500+ out of a gen I chevy so I could have better drivability as well as more power under the curve and in a daily driver RPM range. For the TT setup, check this thread out...
my buddy had it dynoed The previous owner mustve had some **** done to it i guess or the guy did not know how to operate the dyno which wouldnt surprise me. Ok great tips guess the L-98 is going bye bye Wasnt what i was looking for but i guess its something to work towards. BTW the air silencer is like a plastic bar that splits the air coming in at hte front of the radiator in all cars. Breaks the force down to keep it quieter. It takes like TOPS 3 horsepower but still horsepower adds up so its just two bolts and 5 minute uninstallation and i was bored again thanks everyone

WTF are you talking about, that bar isnt there to silence anything.
This is a pretty straight forward list for 525 HP (NA), but it is not going to be cheap.
383 with 6" rods and 11:1 compression
AFR or TFS 195 heads with .600" springs and 7/16 studs
Mini Ram intake with 58mm TB
TPIS ZZX cam with 1.6 rockers
Full length 1.75" coated headers
Aggressively tuned chip w/30 lb injectors
The heads might need a little bowl cleanup and some portmatching.
500 HP might be done with a 350 with more compression, 210 AFRs, bigger solid roller cam, and tuned for 7,000 RPM.
