Default Underdrive Crank Pulley

What is the best way to get the crank pulley of the LT1? I am installing an Auto Specialties underdrive and need some help. I already have the bolts out just need to know how to pull off pulley. Thanks.

Default Re: Underdrive Crank Pulley (SLOWBUSA)

if you have the 3 bolts off, then it's ready to come off.. try tapping it lightly, it may be slightly rusted onto the hub.. it rests on a 1/4" deep circle on the hub (i.e. if you seperate it 1/4" from the 3 pronged hub behind it, it'll fall to the floor)

beware the lt1 engines are externally balanced, make sure your new underdrive crank pulley (balancer) is balanced identical to the original one.. have a shop do this for you.
