Rear axle vent
I have been watching this forum for a while, and have learned a lot.
I now have a question to ask. Where is the rear axle vent located? The pinon seal needs to be replaced but I wanted to make sure the vent isn't pluged and causing the problem.
1986 Coup auto Dana 36. Thanks for the help.

The pictures are great, but I still don't see a vent. Do they not have one?

That was nice of you to mark the vent location with all the oil residue. Mine was the same way.
Hey, if it wasn't vented, would it ever leak?

Nah...it wouldn't leak....it would spew it out faster than you could put it in!
