Default Forged or Casts?????
Can someone calrify for me....

1985 L98 - did it come from the factory with forged or cast crank, rods, pistons? I've heard they came with forged????

Like they said above,Forged piston and to me,a pretty stout set up for only 230 HP/300 Ft lbs at its best...

Even more overkill in 1984 with 205 HP and 290 Ft Lb. They are the same long block. Only the camshaft is different.
