Default Crank Case Vent Hose

My new engine came with Valve covers that do not have Crank case vent hole they did have a PVC hole. Crank case vent pipe goes from valve cover to throttle body. Can I just drill a hole in cover and insert rubber gromit or can I just plug off where the hose goes to throttle body. Or do I have to buy new valve cover that has a hole for crank case vent.

Did you check inside the cover for something that looks like a knockout. If there is you can drill that area out

In order for your PCV to work it WILL NEED a fresh filtered air source. Either the TB connection or a filter on the valve cover. You can drill one but do look for a possible knockout as stated.

Mine had the knockouts and were simple to drill with a hole saw in a press, then used a sanding drum to get the grommet to fit perfectlyand smooth out the edges
